Bogo Merinos welcome newly purchased ram

It is with great excitement that we announce the recent purchase of Alfoxton 220271 from Alfoxton Merinos of Armidale. A ram that won the coveted Tom Culley supreme junior Merino at this year’s Sydney Royal as well as Grand Champion Ram at the Hay Merino Sheep Show, we are thrilled to welcome 220271 into the Bogo stud and genetics program.

This is the first time we have used Alfoxton genetics and are very impressed with the rams pedigree and test results - 19-micron fibre diameter with 2.8-micron standard deviation, 14.7 per cent coefficient of variation and 99.8pc comfort factor.
