Changes at Bogo Merinos

We've had some exciting changes here at Bogo HQ with the appointment of our new Stud Manager Austin Grace. Austin started with us at Springfield in February this year and is settling nicely into the role.

Austin comes to us with a wealth of experience which belies his young age. As you are no doubt aware we have been searching for a number of years for a person with a real passion and enthusiasm for wool and merino sheep breeding and we believe we have found that person in Austin.

Austin is taking over the day to day management of Springfield and in conjunction with Matt and myself will be formulating and managing the stud breeding program.

Mal won't be going anywhere, just stepping aside from the day to day activities, so that he can spend more time on client liaison and genetics. Austin and Mal will work very closely together for the foreseeable future to continue to progress the genetics and the service we provide to our clients.

Austin will be available to assist clients with ram selection and classing decisions and will be attending all the field days we exhibit at and encourage you to make yourself known to Austin when the opportunity arises.

The Bogo Merinos team also welcomes Will Alexander as our newly appointed Stud Overseer. Will brings with him a passion for the sheep and wool industry and a keenness to expand his skills and knowledge. Will is going to be overseeing stud livestock & husbandry activities and contributing to the day-to-day management of Springfield.
